Lupus and Chronic Illness Blog
Hey there! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I'm Flo, and I'm thrilled to have you here. This is the place where I share my journey of living with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, managing the challenges that come with it, and some of the things I learned along the way.
At the tender age of 14, I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). It was a life-altering moment that changed everything. But you know what they say - when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. And that's exactly what I've been doing ever since. Lupus has taught me resilience, strength, and the importance of cherishing every moment.
I'm fortunate to have my partner by my side, who has been my rock for the past eight years. Our love story is one of overcoming challenges, celebrating victories, and navigating the highs and lows of chronic illness together. They say love knows no boundaries, and we are a living testament to that. I love him immensely. We live together along with our pomchi Bosco, and I couldn't be happier.
After navigating the challenges of living with a chronic illness for over three decades, I've gathered a wealth of knowledge and valuable insights along the way. Through this blog, I aim to document my journey with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, offering personal anecdotes, advice, and practical tips that I've learned over the years. Whether you're also living with a chronic condition or simply seeking inspiration and guidance, I hope Chronically Illest can provide support and motivation. Join me as I delve into various topics, share my triumphs and setbacks, and empower others on their own unique paths. I'm thrilled to have you here. Let's embrace life, celebrate the small victories and support one another every step of the way.
Keep smiling, keep fighting, and remember, you are never alone.
With love and warmth,
Flo
